或者可以这样问:
Did something happen while I was gone? 我走后发生什么事了?
如果觉得对方有点儿异常,可以这样问:
Are you okay? Tell me what happened. 你还好吗？告诉我发生什么事了。
回答可以根据实际情况:
Nothing too exciting happened. 没发生什么令人激动的事。
A Bunch of stuff happened while you were gone. 你走后发生了一连串的事情。
Don’t worry about it; tell me how your flight went. 别担心这个，告诉我你的旅程怎么样。

坐飞机后需要休息:

听到一路平安,可以放心了:
Alright, let’s get you home. 好的，我们带你回家。
Sounds good. If you need anything let me know. 听起来不错。如果你需要什么就告诉我。

想知道是不是被人惦记还可以这样问:
Will anyone be waiting for me when I get there? 我到了的时候有人会在等我吗?
家里人都等不及要见你了: Of course! Your father can't wait to see you again. 当然！你爸爸都等不及要见你了。 Yes, your brother took the day off from school just so he could be there. 是啊，你弟弟从学校请了一天假，就为了能见你。 6. Mom, can you help me carry my luggage? 妈，你能帮我拿一下行李吗?
